Why Should We Study The Bible?
The Bible can stand for itself as completely trustworthy; nothing has been found by science or archaeology that would disturb a reasonable faith or disprove a single theological doctrine. It is a true historical account of God's dealings with mankind in love, patience, and justice at all times and assures us what we as believers can expect from Him (Malachi. 3:6). It will open for you the treasures of God's truths and unlock the mysteries of the Sacred Scriptures. It will fill your nostrils with the perfume of life. It contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of its followers. It is indestructible, incorruptible, indispensable, infallible, and inexhaustible as a literary composition to inform and enlighten a roadmap for directions in our daily living and a foundation for our faith (Romans 10:17). The Bible... Makes us wise unto salvation (II Timothy 3:15), Promotes growth and obedience (I Peter 2:2, Deuteronomy. 17:19 & 20), Supports Life (Jeremiah 15:16), Bears Fruit (St. John 15:3, 5 & 7), and Endures Forever(Psalms 119:89).
